Everything has a beginning and Novsus began with a visit to an almost century-old rice mill located in el Delta del Ebro, where they explained me that until recently, rice husk was useless. After years of research, Iban Ganduxé managed to develop Oryzite, a technology that allows the use of plastics to be replaced rice by rice husk up to 80%.

At Ataviance, our parent company dedicated to luxury packaging for the perfumery, cosmetics, spirits and home fragrance sectors, we had a growing demand from our customers who were looking for real ecological and sustainable solutions, so as to integrate into their processes what today we know as circular economy.

When we discovered Oryzite, we quickly realized that we had to join them and collaborated together in order that Oryzite was the base of all our products. In this way, we started to promote the circular economy in our company, help to achieve a more sustainable world for us and the next generations. It was our opportunity to offer our clients the best solution for the coming challenge: Climate change.

As a result, it emerged our new sustainable packaging division, Novsus Circular Materials. We take advantage of this innovate technology to manufacture all kinds of products for cosmetics, perfumery, spirits, home fragrances and cleaning products with CO2 emissions reducing, biodegradable and sustainable materials.
