We are all aware about the million tons of plastic wastage human action generates each year and the damage this causes to our environment. Despite this, seas and oceans continue to be filled with plastics, increasingly affecting our marine wildlife. What can we do to help reducing the proliferation of disposable plastic?
We decided to take action and we created Novsus!
We know nature is inexhaustibly sustainable if we take care of it, for this reason, at Novsus we provide companies with a unique ecological solution that replaces traditional plastic through our recyclable materials: AKOA y NORAVA.
How did we get it?
Our materials are made of rice husk, an agricultural by-product that is not suitable for the human consumption, but which, when recycled and treated, is converted to Oryzite and, later, when mixed with polymers, allows us to achieve a reduction of plastic in products, in addition to a reduction of greenhouse gases (GHG). Likewise, Oryzite also allows us to reduce energy consumption since during the production process it can be injected at a lower temperature, which makes us more efficient and reduces carbon footprint.
It seems miraculous, right? Well, we have it at Novsus!
