— ORYZITE & NOVSUS, TOGETHER FOR AN ALTERNATIVE TO PLASTIC —
Last Monday November 30th, our CEO of Novsus attended to the official presentation of Oryzite, the sustainable material made from rice husk, at the PIMEC head office in Barcelona. The event was presided by the Hon. Sir Ramon Tremosa, Business Counselor of the government of Catalonia, who highlighted the “capacity of innovation” of the Oryzite project.
During the celebration, there were also presented Novsus and its Barcelona Collection of sustainable cosmetic jars made from Oryzite (rice husk), which we have jointly developed between Oryzite and Novsus and which allow us to reduce the use of plastic by up to 60%!
At Novsus we offer companies an ecological alternative that permits them to reduce the use of plastic in their packaging and thus contribute to a more sustainable environment. We present ourselves in the beauty industry with recyclable, reusable, compostable and biodegradable jars at home and that, indeed, promote the circular economy, the one that uses the least resources and the one that generates the least waste.
