A before and an after

The eco-friendly jars from our Barcelona collection are designed to give the cosmetics sector a boost in terms of sustainability, enabling it to continue to make progress. The rounded, organic shapes provide versatility and naturalness.

They are designed and tested to preserve aqueous, oily and acidic contents. Available in 50 ml formats, their composition is currently 30% Oryzite (rice husk) and 70% PP.

But we’re not settling for those percentages. We’re constantly innovating to find new formulations that, without compromising the technical qualities and quality and safety standards of the jar, reduce the use of plastic even more. Because we always offer our clients the most sustainable cosmetic packaging option possible.

Less plastic, better health for our planet

The environmental impact of our Barcelona collection is much lower compared to packaging that is made solely with plastic or other materials such as wood or glass. One of the objectives established by the EU in its 2030 climate and energy framework is to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 40%. Our jars reduce emissions by over 70% compared to traditional jars made with PP.

Technical characteristics and tests

What’s more, the products in the collection comply with EC Regulation No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 30 November 2009 on cosmetic products.
